Ancient Period Drama Reviews (3600 B.C – 500 A.D.)

The ancient period dramas cover several periods and eras from around the world. Starting around 3600 B.C. with The Bronze Age and ending at the fall of several large empires such as the Roman Empire around 500 A.D.

Throughout these few thousand years, you will see the Dynasties of China, Ancient Greece, the Middle Kingdom of Egypt, Mesopotamia, the start of the Dark Age and many more.

And while these periods haven’t been a high focus at Silver Petticoat Review just yet, we plan on filling up this page with more reviews of ancient era period dramas very soon. We would also love to hear from you. Share with us some recommendations and we will cover them if possible. Stay tuned and bookmark this page! More reviews on the way.

Note: Anything Rated R or rated TV-MA will get a content warning in the review.

Be sure to check out the other historical eras from our main page of the Period Drama Review Archives. Just click on the link next to the photo below. From Regency, WWI, to Victorian, there are several period dramas just waiting for you to check out!
