PBS has a gift for all their PBS Passport supporters! The much-anticipated season 5 of Miss Scarlet is now available to stream on the PBS app a month early. And having already watched it, I can say it’s an absolute delight. Yes, even without the Duke (who is missed!).
To watch, you must donate to PBS (at least 5 dollars a month) and receive the PBS Passport benefit. You can also subscribe to the PBS Masterpiece Amazon Prime Video Channel.

That said, if you don’t have access to either, you can tune in to the broadcast TV premiere on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 8/7c on PBS’ Masterpiece. The new episodes will be released weekly.
The six new episodes include returning cast members and a welcome new one. Kate Philips is back as Eliza, of course. Also returning are Cathy Belton as Ivy, Evan McCabe as Fitzroy, Felix Scott as Nash, Paul Bazely as Clarence, and Simon Ludders as Mr. Potts.

Making his entrance this season is Tom Durant-Pritchard as Alexander Blake – who I like more than I expected to.

Episode 6: “Dangerous Liaisons” (Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 8/7c)
Eliza faces a conflict of interests when she’s hired to look into the personal life of Police Commissioner Fitzroy.
