Amber is the Co-Founder of The Silver Petticoat Review and is currently earning her Masters in Publishing at Pace University. She also works as a freelancer, travels whenever she can, and writes her own stories in-between.

“Because when you are imagining, you might as well imagine something worthwhile.” In second grade, Autumn wrote her first story, “The Spinach Monster,” and hasn’t stopped writing since. Currently, she co-runs The Silver Petticoat Review and works at The New York Public Library as a YA Librarian.



Rebecca Lane grew up in the hot desert landscape of Tucson, Arizona where she decided early on she wanted to write, if only to mentally escape her blistering surroundings. With hopes of writing books someday, she currently works as a freelance writer and editor.




Amirah Yasin is a romantic-minded nurse who is always actively trying to live out her own young adult novel (or period drama, depending on the setting and attire). She likes travel, email, Shahrukh Khan, Colin Firth, and persimmons. Her elderly patients are the only people known to be fond of her singing voice. She has always loved reading, writing, and romance.

Catherine is an avid reader and a self-declared professional binge watcher. It’s not uncommon to find her re-watching a series or movie, or re-reading a book, for the umpteenth time and still be crying into a box of tissues. When she’s not hiding in her closet to read or watch a show or movie, Catherine is a wife, mother, and, in her spare time, a lawyer.

JESSICA Jørgensen

Jessica’s a folklorist, a mother, a wife, a middle child, a small town girl, a beekeeper, an occasional quilter, a jam-maker. She curates museum exhibits, gets involved in many cultural projects for this and that, collects oral histories when she can find the time and continues to love stories in all their many and varied forms.


Rissi is an amateur photographer, designer, and self-diagnosed Bookaholic. She’s an avid blogger and booktuber. Her scribbles are housed on her blog Finding Wonderland. (


Book lover – reader and writer. Escapist who loves to read her way into another world. Passionate about everything period, K-dramas and a little bit crazy about Bollywood. When she’s not working her way through the training world she likes to run away with Mr.Darcy, Mr.Thornton or whoever takes her fancy that day. Aside from reading, she loves to be artistic and capture moments with her trusty camera.


Susan Mesler-Evans is a college student in Florida who often much prefers fictional worlds to the real one. Her presence on this site is the result of her having read “Pride and Prejudice” for a class she took in high school and never getting over it.
