So, let’s get to it. Below, let’s take a look at my romantic recommendations for Hulu September 2018, each with the synopsis, rating, and the Hulu release date. Titles are listed in alphabetical order. And then at the bottom, I’ve included a list of bonus recommendations for Hulu in September – some of which are not romances.

(NOTE: We typically aim to share less explicit content that has PG-13 “like” content and below minus a few exceptions for artistic merit and/or genre interest. If a program is Rated R or TV-M, we will let you know why.)

A Good Woman; Top 10 of the Best Romances New to Hulu September 2018

Hulu Synopsis: A notorious seductress enters a gossipy society and entices the husband of a faithful young woman, delighting the gossips and prompting a series of unexpected consequences.

Hulu Synopsis: Executive producer Dick Wolf delivers the newest installment of the compelling “Chicago” franchise, an emotional thrill ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city’s most explosive hospital and the courageous team of doctors who hold it together.

Emma 1996; Top 10 of the Best Romances New to Hulu September 2018

Hulu Synopsis: This delightfully fun and lighthearted comedy is based on Jane Austen’s classic novel. Dazzling Gwyneth Paltrow (SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, IRON MAN) shines as EMMA — a mischievous young beauty who sets up her single friends. Funny thing is … she’s not very good at it!

So when Emma tries to find a man for Harriet (Toni Collette — 1999 Academy Award(R) Nomination, Best Supporting Actress, THE SIXTH SENSE; LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE), she makes a hilariously tangled mess of everyone’s lives. You’ll enjoy all the comic confusion … until Emma herself falls in love, finally freeing everyone from her outrageously misguided attempts at matchmaking!

Their plan takes an unexpected turn when they meet the Elizondo sisters, the three beautiful daughters of the powerful hacendado who they blame for their misfortune.
