Author S. Briones Lim takes the Petticoat Personality Test

s. briones lim

Today we want to welcome S. Briones Lim, author of Green: A Life Force Novel (Book #1 of The Life Force Trilogy), who is here to take our “Petticoat Personality Test.” Read on to find out a little bit more about her!

What is your favorite book, movie and/or TV Show?

Oh wow, this is a tough question. I love so many books, movies, and TV Shows that it is hard to pick just one in each category. I’ll start by saying I love New Adult, Horror and Paranormal Romance books. Some of my favorites include the Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, Lorien Legacies by Pittacus Lore, Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day, Easy by Tammara Webber, the Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins and Edge of Never by J. A. Redmerski.

For movies, I love The Hunger Games, Insidious 1 & 2, Paranormal Activity and She’s the Man.

For television I have to say How I Met Your Mother, Pretty Little Liars, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and True Blood.

What movie/TV Show or book character turns you on?

I have a new book boyfriend with every new book I read! Don’t judge me 😉 If I had to choose I’d say my favorite book character is Daemon Black from the Lux Series. He’s that perfect mix of bad boy and good guy that turns all the girls on!

What character turns you off?

As much as I love the Crossfire Series, I have to say that I have a love/hate relationship with Gideon Cross. There are certain aspects of his personality that walk that fine line of lovable and unlovable.

Is there any kind of music or any songs that inspire you?

It all really depends on the type of book that I am writing. For example, Green takes place in a backwoods sort of town. The Civil Wars were constantly on repeat as I tried to come up with the setting for Brookesville. The music has a folky and southern blues sort of feeling, which helped me out a lot.

Is there any movie or TV couple past or present you absolutely love?

I loved Daenerys and Drogo. I loved their storyline and I am still quite saddened of his passing.

If you could be or live as any character (book/movie/TV Show), who would you choose?

This may come off as a boring answer, but I wouldn’t mind being Lily Aldrin from How I Met Your Mother. Not only does she live in Manhattan, but she also has a group of awesome friends, a funny & loving husband, a sweet baby and a wicked wardrobe!

What are you reading and/or watching right now?

I am currently in between books at the moment and focusing on finishing up a few projects. However, that doesn’t mean I’m not open to any recommendations! I’m always looking for a new book to read.

I’m also always watching new shows and movies, so let’s just say I’m in the middle of watching all my favorites.

Any guilty pleasures?

I am a coffee and tea addict. I need coffee and green tea throughout my day and I think my addiction is becoming rather frightening. Unfortunately, caffeine no longer wakes me up so my addiction is purely based on taste.

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?

Specifically, I would love to be my family pug, Tobi. I’d love to see what goes through the head of my cute, funny, weird, little fur ball.

If you could see one book adapted into a movie or TV show what would it be?

This question’s easy! I’d love to see Green made into a movie! I think certain aspects of my book would look so great visually on screen. Also, I think it’s a love story many can enjoy. I’d love to have a chance for more people to meet Mattie and Hunter.
