Amber’s Top 30 TV Show Picks

For this week’s top list, I thought it would be fun to go a little more personal this time around than we usually do. In our first top list, each of us picked our Top 20 favorite romantic TV couples, so I thought it’d be fun to share my personal picks for the top 30 TV Shows. Of course this list is dependent on my mood at the moment, so this list might be different even by next week!

Now, for this list I didn’t include sitcoms, only hour long series (which can be drama or comedy based) and since these are my “favorite,” some of these shows probably won’t be seen on any top lists for “best” series of all time. (In a future list, we’ll probably try to objectively pick a list of the best TV Series.) I tried to pick the shows I feel the most attached to (which means there’s a couple new ones in there which could ultimately get booted out eventually if my attachment wanes), the ones that have stood the test of time, and shows that haven’t done too much to tick me off (sorry Smallville, you did not make the list).

You’ll probably notice a lot of genre series, period drama and supernatural shows. Those three tend to be my preferred favorites. But honestly, I like anything with good writing and great characters, or at least a fantastic entertainment aspect.

Anyway, scroll through the photo gallery to see my personal picks for the Top 30 TV Shows of all time!
