11: My Christmas Love – Showings: July 16 / 26
Why You Should Watch It: The lyrics for ’12 Days of Christmas’ inspire this romance.
12: The Nine Lives of Christmas – Showings: July 14 / 17 / 28
Why You Should Watch It: Frequently starring as secondary characters on Hallmark, Kimberley Sustad takes the lead in this film. She plays an adorable character we all relate to. PLUS, Superman Returns’ Brandon Routh plays a handsome fireman.
13: Once Upon a Holiday – Showings: July 22 / 27
Why You Should Watch It: One of Hallmark’s many “royal romances,” this one is unique because it doesn’t take place in a castle and the female character is the princess.
14: Pride, Prejudice and Mistletoe – Showings: 13 / 19 / 25 / 28
Why You Should Watch It: Lacey Chabert stars in Hallmark’s second (from 2018) Austen re-telling! It’s also adapted from a popular contemporary romance book.
15: Snow Bride – Showings: July 15 / 21 / 23
Why You Should Watch It: Because it’s cute! A nosy reporter tries to get the latest scoop (and gossip) on a wealthy family.
16: A Shoe Addict’s Christmas – Showings: 16 / 20 / 24 / 28
Why You Should Watch It: Another of the originals with Candace Cameron Bure, the legend of A Christmas Carol is re-told. It’s actually one of the more entertaining contemporary takes I’ve seen, and I appreciate we don’t spend the entire time in the past.
17: Sleigh Bells Ring – Showings: July 14
Why You Should Watch It: I don’t typically hear many people talk about this one, but it’s a really sweet reunion romance.
18: A Very Merry Mix-Up – Showings: July 13 / 18 / 22 /28
Why You Should Watch It: This one also reminds me of While You Were Sleeping, with a twist. Fan favorite Alicia Witt stars as the leading lady.
19: Welcome to Christmas – Showings: July 15 / 20 / 24
Why You Should Watch It: Signed, Sealed, Delivered’s Eric Mabius plays a single father who’s profession is a small town sheriff! Those who watch SSD will know what a character shift this is for the actor.
20: With Love, Christmas – Showings: July 13 / 20 / 23
Why You Should Watch It: Emilie Ullerup (Chesapeake Shores) stars in this romance about secret Santa co-workers. Bonus, its hero has a kind of modern Mr. Darcy brooding gaze going on.
