January has some great dramas coming your way from the world of period drama and romance. So, if you’ve been wanting to watch recent hits, then you’ll be excited to know that the BBC’s My Mother and Other Strangers (also on Masterpiece), Grantchester Season 3, and even Doctor Who season 10 are coming soon in January! Besides that, quite a few old favorites were added quietly throughout the month. So, check out the list below to find out what you want to add to your watchlist!

THE SILVER STAR

Next to certain titles, you’ll find a silver star. This means that the Silver Petticoat Review Editors have seen and recommend these choices. The silver star represents our personal favorites.

From the guilty pleasures to the award-winners, these are the ones we might recommend from one friend to another. That’s not to say that some of these other titles aren’t also fabulous just that these are the ones we’ve seen and love and could watch more than once!

ORGANIZATION

I organized the list by separating period dramas and romance (though some of the period dramas are also romantic) to make it easier to find what you’re looking for! I also added links to each title so you can learn what each film or show is about.

Enjoy…We’ve selected the best of what’s new for your viewing pleasure on Amazon Prime January 2018!
