What’s New to Hulu December 2017: Period Dramas & Romance

Now that it’s December and the holidays are in full swing, many of the various streaming sites have added numerous Christmas films for your viewing pleasure. That said, there are plenty of other period dramas and romantic films and TV shows to enjoy as well for all the old-fashioned Romantics out there!

This list covers a few of the titles added quietly throughout November and the ones being added to Hulu for December.

INTRODUCING THE SILVER STAR

Next to certain titles, you’ll find a silver star. This means that the Silver Petticoat Review Editors have seen and recommend these choices. The silver star represents our personal favorites. From the guilty pleasures to the award-winners, these are the ones we might recommend from one friend to another. That’s not to say that some of these other titles aren’t also fabulous just that these are the ones we’ve seen and love and could watch more than once!

ORGANIZATION

I organized the list by separating period dramas and romance (though some of the period dramas are also romantic) to make it easier to find what you’re looking for! I also added links to each title so you can learn what each film or show is about. So, without further ado, let’s see what to expect on Hulu (and the Showtime add-ons) in December 2017!
