Hallmark Movies and Mysteries – Original Premieres November 4th – November 26th

#13 The Perfect Christmas Present – November 4, 2017

Previewing Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas

A unique premise indeed, this looks to have hints of “old-fashioned” styling and scenes. It tells the story of a professional secret Santa, hired by clients to find the perfect gift. His professional and personal life collide when he begins to fall for a client’s girlfriend.

#14 Christmas in the Air* – November 5, 2017

A stressed single dad seeks help over the holidays in the form of a professional planner. Eric Close (Follow the Stars Home) and Catherine Bell co-star.

*You can purchase Christmas in the Air on Amazon Video on November 14!

#15 A Song for Christmas – November 11, 2017

Previewing Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas

Described as country music’s “it girl,” this one tells the story of an unhappy superstar who may find happiness and peace when her tour bus stops in a small town.

#16 Engaging Father Christmas – November 12, 2017

A follow up to last year’s Finding Father Christmas, based on the novels by Robin Jones Gunn. This sequel reunites Erin Krakow (When Calls the Heart) and Niall Matter as Miranda continues to uncover her family tree.

#17 Christmas Homecoming – November 18, 2017

Countdown to Christmas

A military widow houses an injured soldier on leave with whom she finds friendship and eventually, love, in this poignant story. Julie Benz and Michael Shanks star.

#18 A Bramble House Christmas – November 19, 2017

Countdown to Christmas | Previewing Hallmark's 2017 Originals!

Adapted from a novel in the Carrigan’s of the Circle C novels by CJ Carmichael, this stars Autumn Resser as a single mother who’s bequeathed an inheritance upon her employers’ death. Suspicious, his son returns home to figure out why so generous a gift was left.

#19 A Joyous Christmas – November 26, 2017

Countdown to Christmas | Michael Rady stars in Hallmark's "A Joyous Christmas"

One of my favorite actors, Michael Rady (Emily Owens, M.D.) returns in this new original. The story follows a motivational speaker who has a near-death experience, and rediscovers the joy of the season.

Where to watch: Check your local cable provider listings or Hallmark Channel for specific times and air dates.

Watch for our “part 2” preview coming at the end of November. We’ll look at MORE adaptations (including from Karen Kingsbury), a royal-theme New Year’s romance, and plenty more.

Tell me, which of these are you most anticipating? I’d love to know what you’re looking forward to. Do you have this event circled on your calendar – will you be watching from October 28th on or wait to start the viewing party until Christmas draws nearer? Let’s chat all about these new originals!

  1. So many great Christmas movies to pick from. I love anything with Autumn Reeser and am excited to see Brooke D’Orsay in a holiday movie. Michael Rady is a favorite too thanks to Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants AND Emily Owens MD.

    • Yes, yes there are! And there’s MORE to come!

Me too. I like Autumn as an actress, and of course, Brooke. She’s one of THE best “Royal Pains” characters – and in fact, may be my favorite. I loved Michael in “Emily Owens,” but ALWAYS forget he was also in ‘Sisterhood.’ This reminds me… a re-watch of those may be in order. 🙂
