The Master’s Sun Music Video: Tae Gong Shil and Joo Joong Won – When You Say You Love Me

“When You Say You Love Me,” tells the love story of Tae Gong-shil and Joo Joong-won from the supernatural Korean Drama, The Master’s Sun. Tae Gong-shil, a woman haunted day and night with the ability to see ghosts, finds sanctuary in Joo Joong-won, a wealthy (and seemingly cold) CEO. She discovers that whenever she touches him, the ghosts disappear.

He quickly believes in her abilities and only agrees to help her because she can figure out who was behind his kidnapping when he was young – a mystery he’s long lived with. The two quickly grow very close as they connect on an emotional level. He’s her protective shield. And she is his “sun.” The two fall in love in a series that may be one of the most romantic shows of all time.

The video focuses on Joo Joong Won’s perspective as he falls for this strange woman who brings him light and happiness. The two in their loneliness become complete with each other. But will her abilities put him in danger? And will they be able to overcome all obstacles to be together? The video is structured around the build up of both of these characters saying, “I Love You,” to each other.

On a side note, how awesome (and absolutely genius) is it that all it takes for Joong-won to rescue Tae Gong-shil is to give her a hug?

If you haven’t seen this series, I can’t recommend it enough! It is available to watch on Dramafever, Viki, and Hulu.
