There are dozens of articles with lists of “everything” coming to the bigger streaming sites such as Netflix or Amazon each month. But these lists typically have no extra information and are just long and overwhelming to read. And what about those of us interested in specific genres? It is hard to tell what to watch when all we see is a title.

RELATED | What’s Coming to Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and More in August 2016

So, I have decided to put together a monthly feature with a totally biased (and very researched guide) of what’s new to the world of streaming with a focus on these specific genres:

  1. Period Dramas
  2. Classics
  3. Genre (IE: supernatural, fantasy, fairy tales, dystopian, etc.)
  4. Romance (usually of the old-fashioned variety)
  5. Romantic Comedy
  6. Mystery (Historical, Cozy)
  7. Suspense/Thriller
  8. Documentaries (more people & story driven than propaganda films)
  9. Intelligent Drama & Comedy
  10. International (British, Australian, K-Drama, etc.)
  11. Female-Driven
  12. Family Friendly
  13. And everything else we feel might be of relevant interest!

You can see a full list of what we cover in our ABOUT.

We try to include content that is not explicit or overly gratuitous. Per our site’s focus, the list is mostly focused on PG-13 like content or below minus a few exceptions (usually for artistic reasons or genre interest). Also, we have not seen everything we include, so if something more explicit sneaks past us, we apologize in advance! If we are unsure of the content, or if it’s Rated R or TV-M, you will see a note next to the title.

I have linked every title, so you can learn more about the Film or TV Show to see if it is something of interest to you.

Enjoy! Let us know if there are other streaming sites you are interested in us covering!

NOTE: The list should not be seen as recommendations! We cannot vouch for the quality of these Films & TV Shows.
