Journey

It has now been a little over two years since we (Autumn, Amber, and Rebecca) first started The Silver Petticoat Review. The journey has been difficult and rewarding as we constantly strive to improve the site and become a place all of you want to return to. Starting from scratch, it’s amazing to see all of our hard work beginning to pay off. We’ve seen huge growth these last few months and more returning visitors. Many of you probably even noticed that the site slowed down and then crashed the past couple of days. The reason was high traffic. We have since migrated the site to a new server and hopefully you can click through the articles at a much faster speed.

Since we started, aside from a complete re-design, we’ve even added several writers to contribute content to the site and they have done a fabulous job thus far, don’t you think?

Recently, as we are constantly seeking to make the site better, we added an archive of our Period Drama Reviews to better help those of you looking for a good costume drama recommendation, and now do Literary Romantic Moments as well as Film and TV. But now we want to hear your thoughts, to tell us how you think we could improve the site.

Here are just a few questions we would love some answers to (and if you don’t want to answer in the comment section just send us an email at support@silverpetticoatreview.com).

Survey

#1: What would you like to see more of on The Silver Petticoat Review?

#2: Our mailing list is daily. Would you prefer just three times a week (Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday) so you can then choose what article to click on with an occasional newsletter update? Or do you prefer the daily updates? We don’t want the mailing list to be spammy or annoying. Any other suggestions are welcome as well.

#3: How can we make our blog better?

#4: What categories do you enjoy the most?

#5: How Did You First Find Our Blog?

Any other feedback and recommendations would be much appreciated and thanks again for visiting The Silver Petticoat Review!

Sincerely,

Your Editors, Autumn and Amber
