Today we’re excited to have the author Renee Donne of Runaway here to take the Petticoat Personality Test! So take a few minutes to learn more about Renee and her book!
What is your favorite book, movie and/or TV Show?
I don’t really have an all-time favorite. I will have a favorite for a while, then read or see something new and that becomes my favorite. Some of my favorite books are the Love Comes Softly Series, by Janette Oke and the O’Malley series by Dee Henderson.
What movie/TV Show or book character turns you on?
Four from Divergent is the total package. He is handsome, chivalrous and a little dangerous.
Is there any kind of music or any songs that inspire you?
I like to listen to contemporary christian music. The Worship Team at my church has produced a cd of uplifting songs that I like to listen to. For more mainstream music, sometimes I like to write while listening to bands like One Republic.
Is there any movie or TV couple past or present you absolutely love?
Lucy and Desi – doesn’t everyone love them?
If you could be or live as any character (book/movie/TV Show), who would you choose?
I would have a hard time being limited to just one character. I enjoy a variety of movies and TV shows, and read a lot of good books. There are appealing qualities and exciting lives/circumstances in most good characters. I can enjoy putting myself in a character’s place if the book and character are riveting.
What are you reading and/or watching right now?
I am currently reading Full Disclosure, by Dee Henderson, and it promises to be as enjoyable as her other works.
Any guilty pleasures?
Chocolate. I don’t eat sweets on a daily basis, but I am known to go on a chocolate binge. I like to settle into my favorite chair on the veranda with a good book, a glass of Prosecco and Godiva chocolates.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
An otter. They are intelligent little critters, cute and furry, and can swim and play all day.

Unfortunately for her danger follows. First, a stage coach accident leaves her stranded in the middle of nowhere – with an injured driver. And henchmen, hired by her spurned would-be husband, are hot on her trail, threatening to return her to Philadelphia and the man who is determined to own her.
Just when things seem hopeless, Marianne is rescued by a handsome, cowboy who offers temporary refuge. Knowing she can’t refuse, yet wary of his intentions, Marianne finds herself drawn to this quiet, enigmatic hero.
