Author Michelle Muto takes the Petticoat Personality Test

Michelle Muto

Today we have author Michelle Muto of popular books such as Don’t Fear the Reaper, The Book of Lost Souls and The Haunting Season taking our Petticoat Personality Test! Read on to find out what TV couples she absolutely loves and more!

What is your favorite book, movie and/or TV Show?

Book? Hmm. So many to choose from! Overall, The Harry Potter Series for books.

Film: currently, my favorite TV show is Supernatural.

What movie/TV Show or book character turns you on?

Dean from Supernatural, Damon from The Vampire Diaries. I love that they’ll do whatever it takes for those they care about. Plus, all that great wit and looks!

What character turns you off?

Delores Umbridge from Harry Potter. All that pink, how evil she is, and that constant giggle! J.K. Did a brilliant job with Umbridge as a villain.

Is there any kind of music or any songs that inspire you?

Mostly, I’m a classic rock kind of girl.

Is there any movie or TV couple past or present you absolutely love?

Currently, it’s Beckett & Castle on the TV show Castle. Past? I’m going to agree with you guys and go for Scully & Mulder.

If you could be or live as any character (book/movie/TV Show), who would you choose?

Hmm. It’s never occurred to be before. Frankly, I wouldn’t choose any because there is always something so catastrophic in their lives that I wouldn’t want to go through. Not that my life is perfect, either.

What are you reading and/or watching right now?

Reading: Forever Odd by Dean Koontz. Watching: Supernatural, Castle, The Vampire Diaries, and Person of Interest.

Any guilty pleasures?

Brownies. Or Talenti Sea Salt Caramel gelato.

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?

A dog because I really love them. Dogs bring unconditional love, the usually live in the moment. They make me happy. I’ve always liked the saying: May I be as good a person as my dog thinks I am.

If you could see one book adapted into a movie or TV show what would it be?

I’d actually like to see the Odd novels by Dean Koontz. I think it’d make a great TV series.

ABOUT THE HAUNTING SEASON

Be careful what you let in…

Siler House has stood silent beneath Savannah’s moss-draped oaks for decades. Notoriously haunted, it has remained empty until college-bound Jess Perry and three of her peers gather to take part in a month-long study on the paranormal. Jess, who talks to ghosts, quickly bonds with her fellow test subjects. One is a girl possessed. Another just wants to forget. The third is a guy who really knows how to turn up the August heat, not to mention Jess’s heart rate…when he’s not resurrecting the dead.

The study soon turns into something far more sinister when they discover that Siler House and the dark forces within are determined to keep them forever. In order to escape, Jess and the others will have to open themselves up to the true horror of Siler House and channel the very evil that has welcomed them all.
