15 Favorite Hallmark Romances, Part 2 – More Romance to Enjoy!

8: The Perfect Bride

15 Favorite Hallmark Romances, Part 2

Fan favorites Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith (from When Calls the Heart) play two people (one an entrepreneur, the other a photographer) who unexpectedly fall in love. The trouble is, one of them is about to be married!

9: Pearl in Paradise (2018)

15 Favorite Hallmark Romances, Part 2

Jill Wagner and Kristoffer Polaha co-star in this film about a best-selling author who claims to know the location of a long-buried pearl. Jill plays the woman who needs to discover where it is. Fun fact: this on-screen couple re-teams in Hallmark’s new mystery series, Mystery 101.

10: A Portrait of Love

Jason Dohring (aka Logan) from Veronica Mars plays leading man in this sweetheart romance. It’s about a single father who’s ex-girlfriend returns to their small town.

11: Royal Hearts

This one is quite different than most of Hallmark’s sophisticated royal romances, but that’s what makes it unique. It’s about a rancher (James Brolin) who learns he’s inherited property (and a title to go with it!). Cindy Busby plays his adult daughter.

12: Second Chances (2013)

15 Favorite Hallmark Romances, Part 2

Though it’s an oldie (by comparison) from Hallmark, this romantic drama is one of their best. Alison Sweeney plays a single mother who rents out a room to an injured firefighter.

13: Truly, Madly, Sweetly (2018)

Nikki DeLoach and Dylan O’Neal (Gourmet Detective) co-star as reluctant property co-owners. The sparks between these two grow to romantic chemistry.

14: Winter Castle (2019)

This one earns a spot because of its unique setting. Hallmark hasn’t taken us to an ice castle before, and this real-life setting gives the film a romantic, fairy tale superiority. Heartland’s Kevin McGarry and Chesapeake Shores’ Emilie Ullerup co-star.

15: Winter Love Story (2019)

Though this script does have an “I love you” declaration a second before the end, it’s a bookish and cozy road trip romance that I quite enjoy. Jen Lilley and Kevin McGarry co-star.

That brings us to an end of our 15 Hallmark Romances, Part 2 list! Have you seen any of these? Do you spy a favorite? What Hallmark romances do you count as favorites? Tell me about them down in the comments. I’d love to chat with you.

  1. Thanks for doing all the hard work for us, Rissi! I admit I’m a hard sell (without a lot of time for viewing) so I’ll just stick to your recommendations.

    • Hi, Debra! My apologies for not responding to your comment before now. I hope you found some fun new Hallmark movies to try – and let me know if you’ve found any new favorites more recently. I’m always ready to create new Hallmark lists. 🙂

  2. It’s fun making these lists and Hallmark gives us so many good films to choose from. I too love Winter Love Story, Love Blossoms and Dater’s Handbook. I also am fan of Falling for Vermont, Loving Leah, How to Fall in Love, Be My Valentine, The Memory Book ( which is a Hallmark Movies and Mysteries film), Surprised by Love, All Things Valentine, The Irresistible Blueberry Farm (HMM), The Art of Us, All For Love, Love at First Dance, Season for Love and Snowcoming. I’ve learned that many of my favorites Hallmark films are because I enjoy watching certain actors more than others.

    • Right? I agree, Brittaney! There are SO many new possibilities to discover and enjoy. 🙂 “The Memory Book” is one of my favorites, and I also love ‘First Dance,’ ‘Art,’ and “All for Love” (this one ALWAYS puts a smile on my face no matter how many re-watches!). I enjoy many of the others you mention too. There’s just too many to pick from. Have you seen any recent new favorites? (Also, so sorry I didn’t reply before now! Thanks for the comment.)
